Bütsüz

Pursuant to the Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data ('KVKK') and the EU General Data Protection Regulation ('GDPR'), the Data Controller for personal data processed through the Bütsüz mobile app is Ayris Dev / Ayris Tech (info@ayris.tech). This page also contains the Terms of Use you accept by using the app.

Bütsüz is intended solely for active university students. A valid .edu.tr university email address is required to create an account; this restriction is also technically enforced at the database level. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts found to violate this requirement.

When you use Bütsüz, the following categories of data may be processed to deliver our service:

• •Account Information: Your .edu.tr email address and selected university/department.
• •Uploaded Content: Course note images/PDFs you upload and the OCR text extracted from them via AI (DeepSeek).
• •Usage Data: Download/view counts and aggregate statistics for the leaderboard.
• •Payment Data: Your card details never reach us; subscription purchases are processed entirely through the Apple App Store.

You are solely responsible for the content of the course notes you upload and for having the right to share them. Content that infringes third-party copyrights, or is misleading or inappropriate, may not be uploaded. We reserve the right to remove content found to violate community rules without prior notice. Notes you upload are processed by AI services to power in-app features (OCR, quiz generation, search).

To deliver our service, your data is shared to a limited extent with these trusted sub-processors: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), DeepSeek (AI processing for OCR and quiz generation), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple App Store (payment processing). Your data is never sold to third parties for advertising purposes.

Your data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS and isolated at the database level using Row Level Security (RLS); a user can only access data they are authorized to see.

Bütsüz Pro is a monthly, 3-month, or annual auto-renewing subscription. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase and is charged to your selected Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. You can restore previous purchases in-app via 'Restore Purchases'.

Your account may accrue balance based on downloads of the notes you share. You can request a payout of your balance; requests are manually reviewed and processed by us. Earnings amounts and processing times are not guaranteed, and balances may be suspended on accounts where abuse is detected.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. To permanently delete your account and all associated data (including uploaded notes), use Settings > Delete My Account within the app; this happens instantly and cannot be undone. You may alternatively request deletion via info@ayris.tech.

Bütsüz is designed for university students, and since a .edu.tr university email is required to create an account, it is not directed at users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Under KVKK and GDPR regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or object to the processing of your personal data at any time. For requests: info@ayris.tech
